The Exemplary Online Awards (EOA) recognize exemplary and innovative practices in online teaching and course production at UF. I am affiliated with two courses that received awards in 2021: EME4406 (instructor of record) and AEC3414 (instructional designer). EME4406 was also a category award winner for "Student Engagement"

In 2015, I was invited by the Council for the Advancement of Public Schools’ (CAPS) to appear on local television and promote their mission to provide art education opportunities to school districts in southeastern Pennsylvania.

I was recognized as UF's "Online Teaching Excellence All-Star" for the year 2021 by the Center for Teaching Excellence. Their newsletter features UF faculty and instructors who practice outside-of-the-box teaching.

In this video, I promoted HHSD's National Art Honor Society (for which I served as faculty advisor from 2011-2019). I discussed the philanthropic work we did within the community, and provided details about the annual induction ceremony for students.

Two of my AP Studio Art students received national recognition in 2019 from the Scholastic Art and Writing Awards. (Each school year, at least one or more of my AP students earned Gold Key awards or were recognized as National Merit Finalists.)

College Board's 2019-2020 AP® Studio Art Student Exhibit

My student's artwork was one of only 30 individual pieces chosen by College Board for their annual exhibition in 2019-2020 from the 66,000 portfolios that were submitted internationally.
