ABOUTME
Welcome to my website! I am an Assistant Professor at the University of Texas at Arlington in the Department of Teacher and Administrator Preparation. My research sits at the intersection of teacher education and educational technology. I earned my Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Florida in 2024 after spending more than a decade teaching STEM and arts-based courses at the secondary and college levels. In projects funded by NSF, IES, and Google, my work has supported inclusive computing and STEM instruction in K–12 schools. I also design microcredentials and teacher professional learning experiences grounded in equity-centered approaches like Universal Design for Learning. I am actively expanding my research into co-designing arts-integrated and AI-focused STEM curricula with K–12 educators and community partners.
In my free time, I enjoy cheering for Philadelphia sports teams, playing ultimate frisbee, disc golf, and racquet sports, DIYing, and spending time with my family. Feel free to reach out if you see a possibility for collaborating!
