MY RESEARCH ON BUILDING DIGITAL EQUITY IN THE CURRICULUM
CULTIVATING PRESERVICE TEACHERS' DIGITAL EQUITY MINDSETS
I redesigned a stand-alone technology integration course to focus on equity, and investigated how preservice teachers' (PSTs') digital equity mindsets evolved as a result of their participation in the course. An analysis of pre/post-course drawings and written reflections where PSTs indicated their intentions for building digital equity in the curriculum showed a significant evolution of their mindsets in five key dimensions.
